Condors released back into the wild in Bolivia

Two Andean condors were

released into the wild

Location: Sucre, Bolivia

They had been nursed back

to health for nearly a week

after eating a poisoned dog

VET, DOUGLAS ROMAY FLORES, SAYING:

Conservationists have worked years

to increase the condor population

They’re among the largest birds in the world

and can live as long as 75 years in captivity

There are currently an estimated

few thousand in the wild
