The first-ever Oscars began in 1929, and almost 100 years later it's still happening! (Even if the Academy is still snubbing women and diverse nominees, but that's a whole other issue.) With nine decades worth of red carpets, that means there have been SO many stylish dresses and gowns that have graced them.
