Common, Patti LaBelle Among Latest Lineup Of Performers At Democratic National Convention
Spotted rehearsing at the United Center this afternoon were Patti LaBelle and Common, who look to be the latest performers to appear at the Democratic National Convention.
Jason Isbell and Mickey Guyton performed on Monday night, but another artist, James Taylor, was bumped from the lineup as the proceedings went way overtime. Convention officials have yet to say if he will be rescheduled.

Also spotted: Ana Navarro, who will be the host of the evening, with the theme “A Bold Vision for America’s Future.” Gov. J.B. Pritzker (D-IL) also appeared in advance of his speaking slot this evening.
Former President Barack Obama and former First Lady Michelle Obama are also among the key speakers, along with Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff, who was an entertainment lawyer in Los Angeles.
It was unclear if Common and LaBelle will perform tonight or later in the week. They were not included in the official schedule convention officials sent out in the afternoon. But they said earlier today that they were making adjustments to try to make sure the proceedings don’t go overtime, as they did on the first night.
Another feature of the evening will be a ceremonial roll call, with California Governor Gavin Newsom expected to announce the tally from the state’s delegation that puts Kamala Harris over the top.
