Comedian Shuib admits to new relationship, asks fans to give him space
KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 10 — After months of speculation, comedian and Suria FM announcer Shuib has admitted he is seeing someone.
The 38-year-old urged fans to pray that his relationship would go smoothly, mStar reported.
“We are friends now. If she can be my life partner, what's wrong? Pray for me,” said Shuib, whose real name is Shahmira Muhamad.
The woman, said to be entrepreneur Watie Hanifiah, has been linked to him for months.
According to Shuib, his priority now was the welfare of his four children, whose ages are from one to 10. In August last year, he lost his wife Siti Sarah Raissuddin to Covid-19 .
“As a father, I know what is lacking. They need the love and touch of a woman. If this person can provide that, it is not wrong for me to befriend her,” he added.
He, however, asked for space when it comes to his relationship.
“I know many people are concerned but please give me the space to go through the phase. I will take into consideration all aspects before deciding to remarry.”
