"Come Home Love" director to leave over glove issue?

18 Sep – Rumours are rife that TVB has forced one of the directors of "Come Home Love - Lo and Behold" to resign following the previous controversy surrounding an episode of the show.

As reported on Mingpao, sources recently claimed that Justin Wok, the director who was responsible for the episode which had a scene where a pair of cleaning gloves were arranged to show the Hong Kong protest gesture of "5 demands, not 1 less", had been asked to leave by TVB for violation of national security laws.

However, there were mixed responses about the firing rumour from both Justin and TVB. The director, who spoke to the media about the report, stated that he is still very much a TVB employee and has not been summoned by the company for questioning, nor was he punished.

On the other hand, TVB stated that they will not comment on the resignation of individual employees, and that they are still investigating the issue

"If there was a deliberate sabotage involved, TVB will deal with it seriously and will not tolerate similar incidents," said its rep.
