In a photo shared to Instagram, three of Jost's toes were bandaged. He also nappeared to have a small cut on his middle toe.

This isn't the first time he's shared a foot injury during his time in Tahiti. On Friday, July 26, Jost posted another bloody photo of his toes to his Instagram page.

"This might ruin my WikiFeet score but I just arrived in Tahiti for the surfing Olympics and the reef was excited to greet me#paris2024 #showfeet," he captioned a picture of his injured digits.

NBC announced in June that Jost would be covering the surfing event from Teahupo’o, Tahiti for the summer games. The sport will make its second appearance ever at the Olympics after it debuted when Tokyo hosted the Summer Olympics in 2011. Surfing events are scheduled to run between July 27 and July 31, according to the Olympics' website.

"Is that even — how did he get this gig? I just want to know," Johansson, 39, laughed.
