Cluster of Strong Storms Brings 'Near Nonstop Lightning' to Alabama

Flashes of lightning were reported over Hayden, Alabama, on September 8 as “a cluster of strong storms” moved through parts of the state, the National Weather Service (NWS) said.

According to the NWS the storms prompted “near nonstop lightning” for a period on Wednesday night.
