Cleanup Begins Following Beirut Explosion

Rescuers in Beirut continued to search for survivors on August 5 after a massive explosion killed 135 people and injured more than 5,000 others the previous day, according to figures released by Lebanon’s health minister.

The Daily Star Lebanon said dozens of people remained missing on Wednesday evening as residents assisted rescue efforts and the cleanup operation.
