After Class members dismiss the idea of disbandment
9 Jul - After Class members Chantel Yiu, Yumi Chung and Windy Zhan do not believe that the group will be disbanded if Gigi Yim does not renew her contract with TVB.
As reported on Mingpao, the three individual singers, who made up the girl group alongside Gigi in 2021 after their appearance in "Stars Academy", stated that there will always be a chance for them to work together no matter the circumstances.
"Even if we stay in the company or sign with a different label in the future, we are all in this industry. There will always be an opportunity for cooperation, depending on the timing and fate," said Chantel.
Meanwhile, the three singers dismissed the idea that they have been getting more jobs and were favoured by TVB Executive Virginia Lok after Gigi was allegedly shelved for her supposed intention to leave the company.
Said Yumi, "I don't feel like I have more work. It's not that different from before. Ms. Lok cherishes all her artistes. She is like a mother who often gives us support and love."
