TikTok star and Hype House member Tony Lopez has been named in a civil lawsuit regarding sexual battery and emotional distress by two minors, according to documents obtained by Seventeen.
According to the lawsuit, two teenage girls, H.L. Doe and C.H. Doe, claim that Lopez, who is 21, "first began communicating with them via text messages [and social media] for the purpose of gaining trust, comfort or to otherwise “groom” H.L. Doe, a minor, including but not limited to, 'I’m trynna marry you,' indicating he wanted a relationship, and not just sex."
"On or about January 4, 2020 and again on or about January 19, 2020, Defendant Tony Lopez induced, manipulated, groomed and coerced H.L. Doe into unlawful sexual acts with him, including oral copulation and vaginal intercourse, without the legal and true consent of H.L. Doe, who could not legally consent to the sexual acts due to the fact that she was a minor. Tony Lopez regularly praised H.L. DOE for her sexual abilities," the lawsuit continues.
The second accuser, C.H., says she was invited by Thomas Petrou to the Hype House around April 13, 2020. "Despite knowing that C.H. Doe was a minor, Tony Lopez continued engage in communications with C.H. Doe and began to solicit, coerce, and pressure C.H. Doe into sexual acts. Defendant Tony Lopez used his fame, status and notoriety as a social media influencer to compel, coerce and solicit C.H. Doe, a minor, into complying with his requests for sexual acts."
Both outlets are also reporting that Chase Hudson and Thomas Petrou are also being sued for negligence as they founded the Hype House and "created a ripe environment to solicit obscene photographs and sexual encounters from under-aged girls."
In a statement to TMZ, Tony denies the allegations saying, "These allegations are not at all true. I never sent nudes to these women and didn’t ask them to send me pictures either. And, I certainly wouldn’t have sex with someone who told me they were underage. This whole thing seems like a money grab to me. I’m going to fight it to the very end. I will not allow them to continue to slander my name and attack my character."
