Cincinnati Firefighters Break Down Wall to Rescue Trapped Dog

Firefighters in Cincinnati, Ohio, hammered through a garage wall to rescue a missing dog on July 18.

The dog, Gertie, had been missing for five days and was located after a local homeowner heard crying behind their garage wall, according to the Cincinnati Fire Department. The dog likely fell down a crevice and became trapped between two concrete walls, according to local media.
