Christmas Storm Carries Lake Effect Snow Across Western Pennsylvania

A Christmas storm brought persistent lake effect snow across the Erie region of Pennsylvania, coating northwestern parts of the state in several inches of snow by Saturday, December 26, the National Weather Service (NWS) reported.
