Christian Nodal Sings About Heartbreak and Infidelity in New Song 'Kbron y Medio' After Split From Ex Cazzu
Nodal released an accompanying music video for the single — which is the first release off his forthcoming album — on Thursday
Christian Nodal is pouring his heart out in his newest single.
On Thursday, June 6, the Mexican singer debuted a new song called "Kbron y Medio" and released an accompany music video where Nodal — who announced his split from Cazzu in May — sings about heartbreak after being cheated on.
The somber music video opens up with Nodal, 25, seemingly smoking and drinking away his sorrows as he's looking through old pictures of his relationship.
"Burning good weed/With a few too many drinks/I started thinking/That I'm not that bad," he sings. "It can always end worse/I'm doing the best/Way you can/Take it to the heart."
Then, the video transitions to Nodal trying to get his mind off the breakup by going to a strip club as he vows to never fall in love again.
"Maybe if I go out it will get better/And for love I become that bastard/That had never been/Hold on, here I go," he sings. "My kisses don't come back/To be for one/My bed is ready/To receive bitches."
"If someone tells you/That I became a bastard/Tell them a bastard and a half," he concludes.
"Kbron y Medio" is the first single Nodal releases from his forthcoming studio album PA'L CORA.
“Love and heartbreak are the inspiration behind the best songs, created out of pure feeling. 'Kbron y Medio' tells the story that we have all gone through at some point in our lives, or will go through in the future - what we are capable of doing when we are heartbroken," the "Adiós Amor" singer said in a press release.
He added, "I hope you like the lyrics and performance as much as I do. And let's soon have a Don Julio tequila singing it at one of the concerts on the tour."
Nodal will kick off the PA'L CORA North American tour dates in Seattle, Washington, on Sept. 11 and he'll wrap on Nov. 10 in Baltimore, Maryland.
As for his split from singer and rapper Cazzu (born Julieta Emilia Cazzuchell), Nodal announced they were going their separate ways in a joint statement in May.

"The time has come to share that Juileta and I are taking our separate paths,” the "Botella Tras Botella" singer wrote on his Instagram Stories, according to USA Today. "Our love and mutual respect remain strong, especially in our role as parents to our wonderful daughter, Inti. I am deeply grateful for the moments we shared and will always carry those memories fondly."
He added, "I appreciate your support and understanding during this time of change."
The pair dated for two years and welcomed a daughter in September 2023.
Cazzu, 30, later reposted his statement and wrote a follow-up message.
"Artists are a screen of what happens in real life. You go through love, heartbreak, successes and mistakes with us," Cazzu wrote in Spanish, per the outlet. "Today, as it was many times and as there are still many, you accompany us, some with hate and others with much love. Thank you. Everything heals."
