Chrissy Teigen is sharing the dangers of creating the perfect 2024 Super Bowl spread.
The Cravings cookbook author, 38, revealed on her Instagram Story on Monday that she had gotten burned while grilling some food for her family during the big game the day before.
In a short video she posted, Teigen could be seen wearing a white towel as she zoomed in on the inside of her upper right arm above the elbow. The skin there had several large and small red marks that wrapped around her arm.
“This is not a rash,” she said in the video. “This is the burn that I sustained yesterday from grilling corn.”

The model did not say how she was treating the burns. However, the American Academy of Dermatology Association suggests that people who do sustain burns bandage the wounds and use petroleum jelly to increase the healing process. It also noted that first-degree burns can usually heal on their own without a doctor.
Earlier on Sunday, Teigen shared a more positive glimpse of her family’s Super Bowl celebration, posting a pair of videos of herself and her kids watching the 2024 Super Bowl halftime show featuring Usher,
In one of the clips, the TV personality could be seen sitting on the ground wrapped in a blanket as she swayed back and forth to the “U Got it Bad” singer, 45, and Alicia Keys, 43, singing “My Boo.” Her daughter Luna, 7, could be seen sitting on the couch above her also watching the TV screen.
In a second video, Teigen held her 8-month-old son Wren in her arms and made him dance while also she also showed off her moves on the floor as they jammed to the end of Usher's set.
"I always love halftime. I never ever hate on halftime. It’s such a big deal and the pressure is so insane, the timing is so bananas," she wrote in her caption. "It’s all just so much and I’m so proud of anyone who does this show. But man, when you know all the songs 😭😭😭."
Earlier that day, Teigen shared a selfie with her sons Wren and Miles, 5, who were cuddling together on the couch. "Learning about quarterbacks with my boys," she wrote over the photo.
