Last night, Selling Sunset's Chrishell Stause and Mary Fitzgerald appeared on the People's Choice Awards to present the award for best comedy act of the year. As the ladies walked out (socially distanced, of course), Stause stunned viewers with a brand new 'do.
The 39-year-old appeared alongside her co-star sporting a much blonder and longer hair style. Not to mention, she ditched her deep side part for… yes... curtain bangs!
While Stause totally nailed the look (yas queen!), she revealed on her Instagram Story that the bangs were in fact clip-ins over her natural hair. “I just put my dress on—I just put my bangs on—let's do this," she said on her Story prior to taking the stage.
After presenting, she followed up with an old family photo that may have inspired her awards' show look. In the photo, Stause is pictured with her mother, father, older sister, and younger sister who at the time is just a newborn. The adorable family all rocked bangs. "We all had the same haircut and bangs," she wrote. Stause looks to be no older than four or five in the photo.
Last month, Stause dedicated a moving performance to her mother and father on Dancing With the Stars, as they both passed within the last two years from lung cancer. Whether this new look was another way to keep her parents with her, or just some fun glam for the show, we love it!
In her Story, Stause tagged the man behind the look: hairstylist Bradley Leake. Besides putting together last night's look (see his BTS video below), Leake has several shots on his Instagram of Stause. He appears to work with her regularly.
