Chris Pratt responds to being called "Hollywood's worst Chris"

Chris Pratt has responded to the harsh and controversial report that saw him named "Hollywood's worst Chris" in the summer.

Earlier this year, a Twitter poll went viral, asking people to name their least favourite 'Hollywood Chris', from Chris Pratt, Chris Hemsworth, Chris Pine and Chris Evans.

When Chris Pratt came out bottom, Marvel stars such as Robert Downey Jr, Zoe Saldana and Mark Ruffalo slammed the poll, while his wife Katherine Schwarzenegger jumped to his defence on social media.

Now, the Avengers actor has responded to the poll for the first time, with a light-hearted Instagram Story about The Agbo Superhero Fantasy Football Charity League, a fantasy football game which benefits a number of charitable organisations around the world.

"If youā€™ve been following [the superhero league]ā€”I made it into the finals! Iā€™m in the finals! How did this happen?" he said to his fans in the video above. "Itā€™s a 14-man league. I had 14th draft pick. You know how hard that is?"

Also involved in the league is Ryan Reynolds, Chris Hemsworth and Chris Pine. The actor continued, "I was picked lastā€”it was very traumatic. Anyone whoā€™s been picked last knows how that feels. I snuck two very, very close victories off, the most recent off Chris Evans.

"He had beat Chris Hemsworth last week, so I guess we can finally put an end to that debate of, 'Whoā€™s the better Chris?'" Laughing off his new ā€˜titleā€™, he added: ā€˜Itā€™s one of them..."

It added the trust was ā€œreaching the pointā€ whereby consultants may have to provide proof of their work. The HSJ said the letter detailed ā€œanecdotalā€ incidents of junior doctors covering for consultants after they had completed their rounds and said this cannot continue. Setting out the pressure the hospital was currently facing the letter said: ā€œI donā€™t need to remind all about the COVID situation. ā€œThe headline is that we are continuing to ramp [up] and have exceeded our ITU capacity. To give you an idea, ITU beds are now four stacked in [a] space of two. Nursing staff are having to look after complex very demanding critically ill patients, with a ratio of 1:3 unlike the standard 1:1ā€¦ā€ When approached for a response the trust said they would not comment ā€œinternal operational emailsā€.

    The first cannabis farm has been found in London's historic financial district, where office buildings have been emptied because of lockdowns to contain the spread of COVID-19, British police said on Wednesday. Highlights of the collections include illuminated manuscripts of the Hebrew Bible, such as the 15th century Kennicott Bible in its original goatskin box-binding, and a fragment of Maimonidesā€™ autograph draft of the Mishneh Torah from the Cairo Genizah. Sir Victor, former chairman of Lloyds TSB, studied modern history at St Catherineā€™s College, Oxford. He said: ā€œMy love and fascination with the Bodleian Library goes back to my undergraduate days. As a historian, I came to appreciate the uniqueness of the Bodleian, housing and preserving swathes of our written history in this country and across the world. ā€œThe pre-eminent collection of Hebrew and Yiddish books (a collection as good as almost any in the world) requires love and care from a dedicated curator. I am delighted to be able, with the Rothschild Foundation Hanadiv Europe, to secure that post for the future.ā€ Lord Jacob Rothschild said his family is ā€œproud to be associated with this important initiativeā€ which ā€œwill contribute to securing Jewish scholarship and offering access to unique manuscripts for generations to comeā€. The current holder of the post is Dr CĆ©sar MerchĆ”n-Hamann. Projects include overseeing the Bodleianā€™s plans to digitise the entire Hebrew and Jewish collection. Richard Ovenden, Bodleyā€™s Librarian, said: ā€œI am delighted that this curatorship is now safeguarded for future generations. The Bodleian has treasured Hebrew books since its foundation more than 400 years ago, and we remain committed to preserving and making available these highly important collections.ā€ ā€œThis donation shows confidence in the Bodleian's world-class scholarship in Hebrew and Jewish studies, and will allow us to extend our work to share the richness of Jewish culture and learning with students, scholars and the general public across the globe. We are enormously grateful to Sir Victor Blank & to the Rothschild Foundation Hanadiv Europe for this tremendous gift."
