Chloe Bailey Raves Over Being ‘Auntie’ to Sister Halle’s Son Halo: ’I Am Absolutely in Love’ (Exclusive)

The actress spoke to PEOPLE about her loving relationship with her 6-month-old nephew Halo, the son of Halle Bailey and DDG

Chloe Bailey is loving life as an auntie!

The singer, 26, joined PEOPLE in 10 ahead of the release of her new film The Exorcism, where she opened up about her tight-knit relationship with her baby nephew Halo, who's the son of her sister Halle Bailey, 24, and her boyfriend DDG, 26.

"He is the most handsome baby. He is the smartest baby," Chloe excitedly tells PEOPLE about the 6-month-old. "And maybe I’m biased, because I’m his auntie, but I am absolutely in love."

The actress recalls an adorable moment she and Halo recently shared just before her brother Branson's graduation.

"I was doing my makeup for my brother’s graduation, and I had my sisters with me and Halo and I had my concealer and contour on before I blended it. And he just thought it was the funniest thing. So I would keep inching closer and closer to him, and he would just laugh so hard," she remembers.

"Any time like that, it just makes me so happy," the proud aunt adds. "I feel like I’m the best auntie in the world."

Not only does Chloe love making Halo laugh, but she also loves spoiling the little guy with gifts.

Asked which family member spoils Halo the most, Chloe immediately replies, "Me!" She proved her point by showing off her latest gift, a gold-plated bracelet with Halo's name on it.

Halle and DDG welcomed Halo in December 2023, but didn't show the infant's face publicly until earlier this month when The Little Mermaid star and rapper posted a series of vacation pics.

“Halo’s first time in italy 🤍🌊," Halle wrote in her Instagram post on Wednesday, July 3. The Color Purple star shared three photos with her boyfriend and their son.

The first flick showed the three of them on a small pier above the ocean. DDG held Halo up in the air, and Halo held onto their baby’s leg as they smiled wide for the camera.

In the second picture, Bailey cradled Halo, and DDG stood behind the two, smiling. Lastly, Bailey and her baby posed for the camera as she propped Halo on her hip and struck a pose for the camera.

DDG shared his own photos to Instagram writing, “la familia ♥️ who halo look like more? 😂," he captioned the post.
