Chiu, known for his Malaysian box office movies like "The Journey" and "Ola Bola", recently made his first film in China with a Chinese-centric cast including Wang Yanhui, Marco Zhang, Gong Beibi, Feng Wenjuan and Li Junhao.

The film revolves around a father and a son - the latter who dreams of becoming a marathon runner, and the former who stands in his way after realising that his son may have inherited a disease that causes blindness as was suffered by his late wife.

The movie is slated for release in Malaysia later this year, with Astro Shaw as the local distributor of the film.
