Chinese residents use curtain to catch boy falling from building

Residents used a curtain to catch a boy falling from the first floor of a building in northern China. The video, filmed in the city of Shijiazhuang in Hebei Province on July 13, shows a boy hanging from the first-floor window of a building and 12 residents holding a curtain under the building to try to catch him. After the boy fell down, the residents caught him on the curtain successfully. According to reports, the boy woke up before his mother and climbed out onto the window sill. Since it did not have security bars outside the window, the boy climbed out of the window and fell down. Fortunately, the boy was not injured. The video was provided by local media with permission.
