Artist Yin Yue uses a long needle to poke wool into an elephant mold

The elephant is in a fetal position and is the size of a small child

Yin started it while pregnant with her son

"When I was making this piece, every time I held it, I would imagine what my baby in my belly would look like. It felt like the piece was growing together with the baby. In my imagination, they have some connections. I had a strong sense of happiness when I was making it. "

Yin has been making wool felt art for about a decade
