China 'anything but an honest broker' in Russia-Ukraine war: U.S.
STORY: China, which signaled support for Russia by sending its top diplomat to Moscow last week, has issued a call for peace in Ukraine.
The step has been met skeptically by the West but welcomed in general terms by both Kyiv and Moscow. Washington has said in recent days it worries that China could send weapons to Russia, which Beijing denies.
"We're concerned that the PRC is contemplating providing lethal assistance to Russia for Russia's use in Ukraine," Price told a news briefing, adding that China was deepening engagement with Russia.
