Chilli and Matthew Lawrence Share a Kiss as They Ring in 2025 in N.Y.C.'s Times Square: 'Many Blessings'

Matthew Lawrence and Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas are sealing 2024 with a smooch!

The couple spent New Year's Eve in New York City, where they rang in 2025 with a kiss and shared a video of the countdown in Times Square in a joint Instagram post.

In the footage, people can be heard counting down from 10 before the crowd cheers amid fireworks and confetti. Lawrence, 44, and Chilli, 53, also share a quick peck for the camera.

"HAPPY NEW YEAR!! 🎊 Hoping 2025 brings many blessings to everyone 🙌🏼 #ny #2025 #newyearsrockineve," actor Lawrence wrote in a caption to his post, on which his musicial girlfriend commented, "🙌🏽❤️."

Chilli was joined by her longtime TLC groupmate Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins during the evening to perform some of their most iconic hit songs during Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve, including "Waterfalls," "Creep" and "No Scrubs."

Lawrence and Chilli made their romance Instagram official in 2022, and the singer's longtime rep Christal Jordan confirmed her client was dating the Boy Meets World alum in January 2023 in a statement to PEOPLE, saying, "I've been with Chilli since 2005 and I've never seen her this in love."

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight that March, Lawrence shared how he and the singer met — namely, thanks to a big snowstorm that brought them together on the same flight.

"Really, it was the flight talking, and then afterward saying, 'Hey, you know what? Let's keep in contact,' and it almost did not happen," the actor said.

"Literally an hour before the flight took off, they said, 'Okay, we got you on this flight. You gotta go,' " Lawrence added to ET about frantically making the trip for work.

During a May appearance on Fox 5 Atlanta's Portia lifestyle show, Chilli revealed that her boyfriend has helped erase any fears she once had about tying the knot.

"I don't have any fear at all when it comes to him," she told host Portia Bruner of the former Brotherly Love star, during the May 13 episode of Bruner's show.

“It is just the way he is as a man, you know?" Chilli continued of Lawrence. "He is a good guy. He has an amazing heart and I mean, he checks off all of my list — except for a few I don't know yet — but we'll figure that part out."
