Child rescued by Malaysia fire department after leg gets stuck in toilet bowl

SELANGOR — In a swift response to a distress call on Thursday (26 October), a team of firefighters from the Sungai Buloh fire station successfully rescued a five-year-old child whose leg had become trapped in a squat toilet bowl hole at his home in Kampung Baru Sungai Buloh.

The incident occurred at around 1pm local time at Jalan Love Line.

The distress call initiated a special rescue operation, led by operations commander Narmizi Hamzah.

Upon arrival, Narmizi reported that the child's leg was trapped in the squat toilet's hole.

The team acted promptly, breaking the toilet bowl to extract the child without causing any harm.

Photos shared by the fire department showed the boy calmly seated while the firefighters worked to get him out of the predicament.
