Chicago Street Flooded After Water Main Bursts

A 94-year-old water main burst in downtown Chicago, Illinois, on November 16, gushing water across a nearby street and flooding the loading dock of the city’s famed John Hancock Center, local media reported

This footage, shot by video journalist Brendan Gutenschwager, shows the mucky aftermath on Streeterville’s Mies Van Der Rohe Way and the Hancock Building’s flooded loading dock.

According to reports, the incident impacted at least five nearby high-rises and engineers were deployed to the scene.
