We have good news for all the Chi-hards out there: Your favorite TV characters aren't leaving the Windy City anytime soon.

In a major show of confidence from NBC, Chicago Fire and its spinoffs Chicago P.D. and Chicago Med have all earned three-season (!!!) renewals. Each of the popular Illinois-based shows will remain on air until at least 2024, so fans can look forward to watching Chicago's finest deal with a lot more relationship drama, life-threatening situations, and tearjerking moments.

Fire is set to return for seasons 9 through 11, while P.D. and Med have been picked up for seasons 8 through 10 and seasons 6 through 8, respectively.

The individual shows confirmed the exciting news on Twitter, with matching posters announcing the update.

These renewals come after Dick Wolf, the genius behind the Chicago franchise and Law and Order: SVU, signed a new five-year deal to continue working with Universal Television. As part of the agreement, NBC has renewed SVU for three more seasons as well, continuing the series' record-breaking run.

"Dick Wolf has proven time and time again that he makes shows audiences love," NBC Entertainment Chairman Paul Telegdy said in a statement. "We are delighted, excited and proud that as part of this epic deal with Wolf Entertainment, NBC's loyal audience will know that their favorite shows have a certain future."

Here's to three more years!
