Chicago Aquarium Launches Naming Contest for Giant Pacific Octopus

The Shedd Aquarium in Chicago has welcomed the arrival of a giant Pacific octopus by launching a naming competition.

Guests attending movie screenings at the aquarium during the last week of June can vote on a name for the octopus, with naming options honoring naturists, researchers, and aquarists. A full list of names can be seen on the aquarium’s website.
