Rescuers in Mahad were continuing to search the rubble of a collapsed building for survivors on August 25, the Times of India said, as the death toll rose to 10.
There were cheers from rescuers and bystanders as a young boy was pulled alive from the rubble, as video released by India’s National Disaster Response Force shows.
The boy was described as aged four by rescuers, but as aged five in local reports.
