The Chase is the perfect show to watch while unwinding from work, making yourself feel better about a bad day. Beat the Chasers earlier this year was a fun twist on the format, but we're ready for new episodes now.
Luckily, we won't have to wait too long to get our fix, as ITV has confirmed when new episodes will start airing.
The broadcaster told Metro that Bradley Walsh and the Chasers will be back for new episodes from Tuesday, September 1.
Filming for even newer episodes will kick off in October, with production on new celebrity episodes taking place just before that.
Production for The Chase reportedly came to a halt all the way back in February and, in April, host Bradley Walsh stated that they were at least 100 episodes behind schedule.
Luckily, the long-term future of the show seems to be secure, as ITV ordered 500 more episodes over two years at the start of 2020.
Bradley claimed that people still love the show after 10 years of being on the air because it's so "accessible", and we have to agree. Quick-fire questions and larger than life 'panto villain' characters is such a great formula.
One thing that won't happen any time soon though is a Doctor Who special though, as much as everyone would love it.
Well, everyone except Jodie Whittaker, who said that she would never do it because she doesn't want to embarrass herself in front of the entire nation. Fair enough.
The Chase airs on weekday evenings at 5pm on ITV.
