Charlize Theron Is Dripping in Silver and Jewels (So! Many! Jewels!) at 2024 Oscars

The star and Oscar winner will be a presenter at this year's ceremony

Charlize Theron is bringing her fashion flair to the 2024 Oscars.

The 48-year-old actress and Oscar winner graced the red carpet at the Dolby Theatre dressed to perfection in Dior Haute Couture and tons of Boucheron jewels, including rings, bracelets, chokers and earrings.

Theron's elegant dress was a pale silver shade and featured a twist detail on the bust and draping at the shoulder. It pooled at her ankles and trailed behind her as she walked and epitomized elegance and sophistication. She wore her hair slicked back and kept her glam simple and glam with a rosy lip and rosy cheeks.

Beyond her red carpet appearance, Theron is set to take on another role at the event. She will also hit the stage as a presenter.

In October 2023, Theron once again showcased her fashion-forward sensibility at The Hollywood Reporter Beauty Dinner in West Hollywood. The actress opted for a daring yet sophisticated ensemble, donning a sheer black blouse layered over a delicate lace bralette.

A month before that event, Theron — who won the Best Actress Oscar in 2004 for her role in Monster — opened up to PEOPLE about her approach to fashion and how she selects her outfits. The actress emphasized that she rarely experiences fashion regrets, stating, “I feel like there shouldn’t be any faux pas.”

Theron credits her long-time stylist, Leslie Fremar, for instilling confidence in her fashion choices.

“I feel like I’ve been so spoiled,” she said about her collaboration with the celebrity stylist, whom she has worked with “for a really long time.”

Gratefully, she added, “Man, I am a lucky girl. She’s stuck with me whether she likes it or not.”

The 96th Oscars will air live on ABC from the Dolby Theatre on Sunday, March 10, at 7 p.m. ET.
