Charli and Dixie D’Amelio are reportedly vacationing in the Bahamas with fellow TikTok stars amid the pandemic.
The sisters are getting a ton of backlash from followers on Twitter and Instagram.
Charli and Dixie D’Amelio are the latest celebs getting backlash for taking a group vacation amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. According to Entertainment Tonight Canada, the sisters joined fellow TikTok famous friends on a trip to the Bahamas—including Noah Beck, Chase Hudson, Avani Gregg, and Bryant.
While Charli and Dixie haven't been posting photos from the trip, the popular and highly sleuthy Instagram account TikTok Room has rounded up pics of the group—and people aren't thrilled.
Here's a quick look at what comments on these posts are like, ahem:
"Idk what’s wrong with their big ass mansion that they can’t stay quarantined."
"The cases rising in the Caribbean and Mexico is because of people like them."
"Aww is it that HARD TO STAY IN F*CKING QUARANTINE."
"Stay home like everybody else and don’t think you can go out just because you’re an influencer."
Meanwhile, fans are taking it to Twitter to voice their concerns:
the fact that charli damelio and other tiktokers are in the bahamas rn honestly BAFFLES me bc even if you ignore the deadly pandemic (which they are experts at) they literally went to the bahamas in early march this year there was no reason to go again 😭😭

i really can't understand how influencers like charli, dixie, madi, avani, noah, etc decide it's a great idea to go to the bahamas while we're in the middle of a pandemic...like c'mon people are dying everyday. i'm a bit disappointed ngl. they're supposed to be good role models.
