Charlene Choi thankful to Albert Yeung for "77 Heartburns"

14 Dec – Charlene Choi recently admitted that the team of "77 Heartbreaks" were lucky to be given the opportunity to produce a sequel thanks to EMP boss and Emperor Group Chairman, Albert Yeung.

As reported on Mingpao, the actress, who will reprise her role as the heartbroken Eva, shared that the producer was very happy with how well the first movie was received and made it certain that a second movie could be made.

"But for various reasons, it was only now that the whole team can finally unite and shoot the movie," she said.

At the same time, the new movie will also introduce new faces to the project, including Thai actor Mario Maurer an actress Jeana Ho - the latter will be playing Maurer's manager.

On the other hand, co-star Pakho Chau revealed that the two of them will continue playing a couple, and that the movie will continue to discuss the emotional relationship between a man and a woman.

"In the last film, I was a naive guy. This time, the audience will be able to see the growth of my character," he said.
