Charlene Choi: I must have done something good!

22 Feb – Charlene Choi recently enthused that the opportunity of working with the three biggest Hong Kong actors in the upcoming film "Goldfinger" felt like a reward for some good deed that she had done in her past life.

As reported on Mingpao, the actress, who appeared at the press conference of the said EMP movie alongside Tony Leung, Andy Lau and Simon Yam, stated that this would be her first time working with the former, who had just recently filmed the upcoming Marvel film, "Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings."

It is noted that she has already worked with Simon and Andy in the past through "Sara" and "All About Love" respectively.

"You could say that I am prosperous. When the boss told me about filming this movie, I thought I had to pay for it," she said with a laugh.

Charlene also revealed that her friends were more overjoyed by the news than her, and that they even planned on visiting her on set.

"I told them no and in no certain terms should they embarrass me," she added light-heartedly.

Asked if she would have any risqué scenes in the movie with Tony, Charlene said that the plot needs it, though stressed that it would not be as extreme as "Sara".

"That time, I reached my limit, but it wasn't Simon's limit," she joked.

To that Tony smiled and said, "It's hard to know how far we may go before filming starts. It is often decided on the spot. Let's see how scared we should be when that time comes."
