Chapman To praises Stephy Tang's kindness

17 Feb – Chapman To couldn't help but sing praises for Stephy Tang, who was recently nominated at the Hong Kong Film Awards.

As reported on Mingpao, the actor took to Facebook to express his thoughts about the "My Prince Edward" star, writing, "Before I'm going to bed, I want to tell you what kind of person Stephy Tang is."

"Today, I sent her a text message to congratulate her for being nominated Best Actress at the Hong Kong Film Awards. She didn't care about it at all, but instead asked me how to find a way so that more people can get face masks for free," he said.

Netizens immediately concurred in the comments section, with one writing, "Truly beautiful, inside and out", while another posted, "That's what makes us human."

It is noted that Chapman and Stephy became close friends after the actress starred in his directorial effort, "The Empty Hands" in 2017 - which earned Stephy her first Best Actress awards from the HKFA and the Hong Kong Film Critics Society Awards.
