Channing Tatum and Zoe Kravitz's relationship timeline: from Pussy Island to engagement

Channing Tatum and Zoë Kravitz have reportedly got engaged after two years of dating.

The actress, who has starred in The Batman, Divergent, Mad Max: Fury Road and High Fidelity, was seen wearing a wedding ring to Kendall Jenner's Halloween Party on Monday. Tatum, famous for 21 Jump Street, Foxcatcher and Magic Mike, entered the party by her side as they both dressed up in costumes from Rosemary's Baby.

Neither actor has confirmed the news although it has now been widely reported.

Tatum, 43, has been married once before to Jenna Dewan from 2009 to 2019 and Kravitz, 34, got hitched to Karl Glusman in 2019 but divorced in 2021.

This is their story so far…

After his divorce, Tatum begins to share parenting of his daughter Everly with Dewan. He tells Vanity Fair: “I don’t know if I’m ever going to get married again.

"Relationships are hard for me. I'm deeply monogamous in nature, fearless in my professional realm, yet when it comes to heart matters, I tread cautiously.”

That same year, Kravitz marries Glusman in Paris – home of her father, the musician Lenny. They got engaged in 2018.

Tatum and Kravitz meet as part of the casting process for Pussy Island.

Kravitz is making her directorial debut in the film, which has still not been released. Tatum has one of the major roles in the thriller where he will star alongside Naomi Ackie.

Kravitz files for divorce in December 2020 and the split is finalised in August 2021.

The pair had shared couplely photos for their one-year anniversary, Glusman calling Kravitz his “best friend”.

Kravitz said in April 2022: “It really is less about him and more about me learning how to ask myself questions about who I am and still learning who I am, and that being okay. That’s the journey I’m on right now.”

In her Elle interview, she added: “All my relationships in life – my friendships, my romantic relationships, my family – the journey is learning how to show up honestly.

“Sometimes we can’t show up, and that’s okay as long as we know how to communicate that we love those people.”

During the summer, Kravitz and Tatum are seen hanging out and around the time of the divorce being concluded they are confirmed to be dating.

Kravitz later opens up about her feelings to Wall Street Journal magazine: "From a distance, I sensed his feminist vibes and his courage to dive deep into complex roles. That intrigue made me want to collaborate with him.”

In the autumn of 2021 they are seen holding hands and are soon appearing together at events.

Kravitz says to GQ that she had her reservations about marriage.

"I've outgrown the age-old, romanticised domestic narrative,” she said in 2022.

“It has its charm momentarily but fades quickly.”

On Tatum, she added: "He makes me laugh and we both really love art and talking about art and the exploration of why we do what we do.

“We love to watch a film and break it down and talk about it and challenge each other."

Pussy Island begins filming and People said that Tatum acted as the “guardian” of Kravitz on the set. "Whether it was making me tea or pouring me a drink or going to whip someone into shape or whatever — he really was my protector and it was really wonderful and sweet,” she said.

Tatum and Kravitz arrive at a fancy dress party for Halloween. They are wearing costumes based upon the film Rosemary's Baby but, more sensationally, Kravitz appears to be wearing an engagement ring.

Rumours circulate from Monday night that the pair are engaged but have not been confirmed yet by either side.
