Channing Tatum and Zoë Kravitz Hold Hands in Los Angeles After Engagement News

A source said Channing Tatum "can’t stop smiling around" fiancée Zoë Kravitz

Channing Tatum and Zoë Kravitz are enjoying themselves after their engagement news.

Just over a week after PEOPLE learned from multiple sources that the two are engaged, Tatum, 43, and Kravitz, 34, were spotted hand in hand Wednesday night in Los Angeles.

Both actors sported casual attire for the evening, with the Batman actress in jeans, a black top, a black jacket and sneakers as she carried a brown purse.

The Magic Mike's Last Dance actor opted for a primarily brown 'fit, from his beanie to his shirt, slacks and puffer jacket over a white shirt. He finished the look in a pair of brown-and-white shoes.

Multiple sources told PEOPLE Oct. 31 that the couple — who first met when Kravitz cast Tatum for a role in her upcoming directorial debut Pussy Island and were first linked romantically in 2021 — were recently engaged.

Over Halloween weekend, the stars were photographed leaving a costume party — and Kravitz (dressed as Rosemary Woodhouse from the 1968 movie Rosemary's Baby) showed off her new ring in the snaps.

Following their engagement news, a source told PEOPLE of Tatum, who finalized his divorce from Jenna Dewan in 2019: "It took him a while to feel happy and to find a new life."

"He can’t stop smiling around [Zoë]. They are very cute together," the source added.

A source also told PEOPLE that Jason Momoa, who was married to Kravitz's mom Lisa Bonet, is elated by the engagement milestone.

"The engagement was happy news for Jason. He loves both Channing and Zoë. He thinks they are a great couple," the source said of Momoa, 44. "Jason is their biggest supporter."

The Big Little Lies actress previously wed Karl Glusman in June 2019. She filed for divorce in December 2020, and the divorce was finalized eight months later.
