Channing Tatum Just Dropped a Shirtless Selfie Amid Zoë Kravitz Split
ICYMI, Channing Tatum legit just hit everyone’s Instagram feed with a brand new selfie of himself in *checks notes* no shirt and a goatee.
Following a morning workout yesterday (can’t relate), the actor took to his Story to upload a snap of his bare upper body, complete with facial hair he’s been growing out for a new movie role.
“The only fun thing about 7am training sessions is when they are done bro,” Channing captioned the selfie, adding, “Also I sort of can’t stand this dirt goatee I have for this character lol but it’s a vibe for the movie.”
(FYI, the celeb is currently in production for the film Roofman, where he plays real-life thief Jeffrey Manchester, aka the “rooftop robber” who allegedly stole from 60 McDonald’s restaurants by breaking in through the roof.)
Channing’s post thirst trap comes just a few weeks after his split from Zoë Kravitz. On October 29, multiple sources confirmed to People that the duo called off their engagement after three years of dating.
Despite going their separate ways, however, the exes will continue to collaborate professionally on the heels of their film Blink Twice debuting, as they’re set to star in the upcoming comedy Alpha Gang.
Recently, an insider confessed to Entertainment Tonight that the reason Channing and Zoë broke up was due to “both have extremely demanding schedules.” Moreover, the intel came amid another person close to the sitch telling Us Weekly that things fizzled after they’d finished their Blink Twice press tour.
“Wedding plans were looming, but neither of them were rushing to the altar,” the source said, adding that this put “a lot of pressure on them” and caused them to “rethink” the relationship once the movie came out.
“Ultimately once the project ended, they realized they were on different pages with what they wanted,” they continued. “It fizzled fast after their press tour wrapped. Zoë is a very independent person. After her divorce, she expressed that she didn’t necessarily need to get married again. She and Channing are opposites, but they always bonded over their love for art and film, and that is what held them together. They realized long-term that it wasn’t going to work out. They were looking at the long-term bigger picture and realized they may not be a good match.”
