Channel 4 News' Jon Snow completes self-isolation amid worldwide coronavirus outbreak
Update: Channel 4 News anchor Jon Snow has completed a 14-day period of self-isolation amid the worldwide coronavirus outbreak.
Snow, who had been in Iran covering the elections with his producer and camera crew, had been following Department of Health guidelines after returning to the UK, and will be back on air later on Monday (March 9).
"After a week in Iran reporting, two weeks self isolation to prove I hadn't got the virus: Normal service has been restored: See you at 7.00pm Channel 4 News!" he tweeted.

Snow, his producer, and his cameraman were in the country to cover the Iran elections, and Channel 4 News has confirmed that the team are now following Department of Health guidelines to self-isolate following their return to the UK on Monday (February 24).
"I'm in self-isolation as a result of having been to Iran for the last four/five days," Snow explained during a video call with his colleagues on today's (February 25) Channel 4 News programme.

"I'm not really supposed to congregate with any crowds or go anywhere where there may be people, so that means I'm sitting at home. For two weeks."
The broadcaster also confirmed that "none of the team are currently showing any symptoms of COVID-19", but added that the official advice is to self-isolate regardless.
"I woke up this morning feeling rather tired but that was from the trip," Snow continued. "We weren't actually anywhere near where the main virus outbreak has occurred."
During the interview, the presenter also admitted that the prospect of spending 14 days at home in isolation hasn't hit him yet.
"I've been doing things I needed to catch up on, having been in Iran, and I haven't really had time to work out how I'm going to handle this," he added.
"I must admit I'm not very good with my own company, I'm a very gregarious character, that's why I like working at Channel 4 News, it's a big, happy... mostly happy team. It will be very, very strange."
