It's December, Christmas decorations are starting to spring up across the country and the long-awaited 2020 Christmas TV listings are here.

We've already shared what to watch from the BBC Christmas schedule, as well as what ITV will have on offer.

Now, our attention turns to Channel 4 and what telly will be airing over there for the festive period – including three Gogglebox specials, a star-studded Taskmaster episode and some quiz show favourites.

Would it even be Christmas without a generous dollop of Bake Off?

As usual, we'll be given two tasty treats from the tent – one Christmas special, and one episode to celebrate New Year.

Complete with a dramatic Prue Leith hair makeover, past contestants – including last year's Rosie Brandreth-Poynter and Jamie Finn, 2018 finalist Ruby Bhogal and 2017's James Hillery – will compete to become 2020's Christmas Star Baker.

Sadly, Noel Fielding will be missing from the festivities due to paternity leave, but Tom Allen will be on hand to try and fill his Chelsea boots.

Yes, you read that right!

Our beloved Taskmaster is bringing us a special one-off episode for New Year.

Boasting a stellar line-up made up of Rylan Clark-Neal, Strictly Come Dancing's Shirley Ballas, Derry Girls' Nicola Coughlan, BAFTA-nominated film star John Hannah and Channel 4 News' Krishnan Guru-Murthy, it's clear that we must have been nice this year to deserve such a treat.

We only wish it were another full series...
