Celebs Who Refused To Come Back for Reunion Episodes
A great ensemble cast of a long-running TV show is one of the best and most comforting things out there. But sometimes, whether it's due to burnout from working on however many seasons, scheduling conflicts that crop up, or, tensions behind the scenes, some actors choose to leave their beloved TV characters behind even when fans would gladly watch them more. Here are some celebs that didn't appear in reunions and revivals of their huge TV series.

Kim Cattrall - Sex and the City
Kim Cattrall left behind the role of Samantha after filming the second Sex and the City movie, and has not expressed interest in returning even as the revival series And Just Like That... films its second season.
There were rumors of infighting between Cattrall and the show's star Sarah Jessica Parker, but if you played a character from 1998 to 2004 and then two movies to boot, you may just be tired of it as well.

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen - Full House
These twin fashion designers, who iconically played the role of Michelle Tanner in the original Full House, decided not to partake in the revival series Fuller House which aired for five seasons on Netflix. They had reportedly expressed interest in returning but ultimately decided that they had both moved on from acting.

Judy Reyes - Scrubs
Scrubs' ninth season is a sore spot amongst fans because it changes up the formula from following the cast we've come to love, and brings only a few back as teachers of a group of new med school students. Bill Lawrence, the Scrubs creator himself considers season eight to be the true end of the show, and initially pitched nine as a spinoff.
The only original cast member who didn't play a part in season nine was Judy Reyes, who played Carla Espinosa. She was offered a guest role in season nine but declined because she was only interested in full-time acting work.

Sammi Giancola - The Jersey Shore
Sammi "Sweetheart" Giancola was responsible for some great moments in the beach house in the original Jersey Shore, but she did not appear in the reunion series Family Vacation.
Her castmates said she was skipping out on it due to tensions between her and Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, who she had a tumultuous on-and-off relationship with from 2009 to 2016.

Mary Cosby - The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City
Mary Cosby joined the fabled history of Housewives reunion no-shows when she skipped out on this end-of-season reunion in January of 2022. But to be fair, she was accused of allegedly being a cult leader in season two of Salt Lake City, so it may have been smart to sit this one out.

John Bradley - Game of Thrones
Bradley played the lovable Nights Watch member and confidante of John Snow, Samwell Tarly, in the acclaimed series Game of Thrones. He wasn't at the show's panel-style reunion special hosted by Conan O'Brien, but given how many cast members were on the show it was likely just a scheduling or time issue.

Anthony Stewart Head - Buffy The Vampire Slayer
Another victim of scheduling conflicts, the man behind Giles in Buffy The Vampire Slayer couldn't make the 20th Anniversary Reunion hosted by Entertainment Weekly. He was in rehearsals for a play in the UK.
Fans may also remember that Giles left Buffy for several episodes in season five, and that was because the actor requested extra time off so he could spend time with his family in England.

Roseanne Barr - Roseanne
Barr got her own renewal of her long-running sitcom Roseanne canceled by ABC after posting a racist Tweet about former Obama Administration official Valerie Jarrett.
The series was later salvaged without Barr with The Conners, which featured other mainstays from the show like John Goodman, Sara Gilbert, and Laurie Metcalf. The Conners will air its final season in May of 2023.

Vernee Watson - The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air
Watson played Will's mother Viola Smith who visits him occasionally from Philadelphia over all six seasons of the hit sitcom. She wasn't available for the HBO Max Reunion, but made a special guest star appearance in the spinoff drama series Bel-Air for Peacock, playing a new character.

Chevy Chase - Community
Chase and the Community creator Dan Harmon notoriously had huge fights on the set of this cult-classic sitcom. Chase eventually departed the show before the fourth season. Fans are rejoicing because a Community movie is now in the works and filming this summer, but Chase was not part of the cast announcement.

Lisa Vanderpump - The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills
Vanderpump was a memorable original cast member of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, shocking viewers with her insanely opulent tastes and living style. After nine seasons, she quit the show and declined to appear at the reunion. She told DailyMailTV, "I have no inclination to reunite with the women who have been harassing me for 10 months now."

Daniel Davis - The Nanny
Don't worry, The Nanny and Niles the butler don't hate each other in real life. Daniel Davis was performing in La Cage Aux Folles on Broadway when the cast filmed The Nanny Reunion: A Nosh To Remember in 2004 for Lifetime.
