Cecilia Cheung not worried about school reopening

22 May – Cecilia Cheung was among the many parents seen picking up their kids from school recently, as international schools began to open after months of shutdown due to the pandemic.

As reported on On CC, the actress was recently photographed arriving at her sons' Lucas and Quintus' school on 20 May to pick them up, dressed in a simple sweater and shorts and hiding her identity behind a pair of dark shades and face mask.

Speaking to the media later on, Cecilia stated that she is not worried at all about the decision to restart school amid the pandemic, as teachers have been teaching the students a lot of preventive measures.

"Students are required to wear masks inside the school and parents were also required to provide their children two spare masks per day," she said.

In addition, the actress also prepared other necessities including sanitiser sprays and dry tissues. She would also check her sons' temperatures to ensure that they do not have a fever.

While international schools have begun accepting the students again, Hong Kong public schools will only open gradually beginning 27 May.
