Caught Short: Prague Police Hunt Number One Suspect in Case of Stolen Portable Toilet

Police in the Czech Republic released footage on August 31 in an attempt to flush out information about a man who was seen stealing a portable toilet in Prague earlier in the month.

The suspect was seen taking the toilet from a site in Prosek, police said.

“The man was not discouraged by the fact that the toilet was fastened to the ground with screws,” police said. “He unscrewed them and then took the toilet to an unknown place.”

Police said damage of more than 30,000 Czech crowns (or $1,390) had been caused, and that the suspect faced up to two years in prison if convicted. Credit: Policie CR via Storyful
