'Catwoman' Jocelyn Wildenstein Shared a Photo from Before Her Many Plastic Surgeries — See How Much She's Changed
The New York socialite and tabloid fixture, who was known for undergoing numerous cosmetic procedures, shared a throwback photo for her daughter’s birthday
New York socialite Jocelyn Wildenstein — dubbed “Catwoman” due to her distinctly feline features — has shared a photo of what she looked like before she had plastic surgery.
Wildenstein, now 82, posted a photo with her then-infant daughter Diane on Instagram in honor of her birthday on Aug. 25.
“Happy Birthday to my beautiful daughter Diane Wildenstein,” the Swiss-born socialite posted. She shared Diane and son Alex, Jr., with her ex-husband, the late billionaire art dealer Alec Wildenstein.
It was their divorce in 1997 that thrust the eccentric couple into the spotlight, making them tabloid media fixtures and causing Jocelyn to be dubbed with the monikers “The Bride of Wildenstein” and “Catwoman.”

During their divorce, Jocelyn claimed she kept undergoing cosmetic procedures partially because Alec "hates to be with old people."
However, as she told Vanity Fair, some of her catlike features are natural.
"The lynx has perfect eyes. If I show you pictures of my grandmother, what you see is these eyes — cat eyes — and high cheekbones."

She has leaned into the cat comparisons, often wearing animal-print clothing — and even had a lynx as a pet.
However, as Alec told the magazine, “She was crazy.”
“I would always find out last. She was thinking that she could fix her face like a piece of furniture. Skin does not work that way. But she wouldn’t listen.”

In 1999, Jocelyn was awarded $2.5 billion, along with an additional $100 million annually for the next 13 years, according to Reuters.
As part of the settlement, the judge in their divorce case reportedly ordered Jocelyn not to spend any of the settlement money on cosmetic surgeries.
