Catcher Rescues Carpet Python From Public Council Bin

A snake catcher was called to a public area in Maroochydore, Queensland, after a maintenance worker discovered a carpet python on top of a public bin.

Stuart McKenzie, the owner of a local snake catching business, captured footage of the rescue before returning the snake to a nearby bushland.

After removing the snake, McKenzie observed, “It’s definitely not gigantic,” adding, “He’s a healthy little snake, probably three- or four-years-old.” Credit: Stuart McKenzie via Storyful
