Catalan separatists call for independence at summit

STORY: Part of the protesters moved towards the French consulate in Barcelona, where some separatists clashed with police when trying to reach Sant Jaume square.

Waving pro-independence "estelada" flags and holding signs reading "Neither Spain, nor France," they chanted separatist slogans ahead of the arrival of Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez and French President Emmanuel Macron.
