People queued outside stores across Wales on the eve of the country’s tier four lockdown on December 19, local media reported.
Welsh First Minister Mark Drakeford said, “Please don’t rush to the shops tonight. As we move to alert level four in Wales most shops must close.” He added, “The best gift we can give our loved ones this year is a coronavirus-free Christmas.”
