Vehicles waded through high water along roads in North Charleston, South Carolina, on June 11, after the National Weather Service issued a flood advisory in the area.
The National Weather Service reported that by the morning of June 11, “as much as 2-3 inches of rain” had fallen in some locations. Local forecasters also warned that slow-moving rain would lead to flooding and “ponding.”
