Carlos Chan feels the pressure of CNY box office
22 Jan – Carlos Chan recently revealed that he is trying hard not to let himself be pressured by the competition, seeing that his new movie "You Are The One" is set to be released on Lunar New Year.
As reported on Epoch Times, the actor who appeared at the press conference of his aforementioned film alongside co-stars Catherine Chau, Carrie Ng, and Snow Suen, said that this is the first time that he is playing the lead in a movie that will be released during the festive season.
"It is nerve-wrecking, but I will try not to think too much about it and treat is as normal. It's hard to control what kind of movies that the audience like to watch. All I can do is to work hard in promoting the film," he said.
Carlos added that he also plans to hold a private viewing of the said movie with family and friends.
The new Patrick Kong romance movie revolves around the relationship of a wealthy man and his ordinary girlfriend. It is set to compete with movies like Dante Lam's "The Rescue", the comedy "All's Well Ends Well" and "The Grand Grandmaster", and Jackie Chan's action flick, "Vanguard".
