Carina Lau and Rosamund Kwan are friends again
23 Oct – It looks like everything is fine again between Carina Lau and Rosamund Kwan, five years after the two friends parted ways due to some misunderstanding that concerned the latter's ex-husband, Chen Tai-ming.
As reported on Mingpao, on 22 October, the two stars - who had been estranged from one another since Rosamund expressed her frustration over Carina spending time with her ex-husband after her divorce, appeared at the same art gala and even took some photos together.
Carina later posted the photos on social media along with photos with other attendees, writing, "Hope you all enjoyed last night as much as me."
It is noted that the issue between the two sparked back to 2015, after Rosamund admitted that she was hurt that Carina went on her hiking trips with Chen, following the shocking news of her secret marriage and subsequent divorce with the Taiwanese businessman. Carina later defended herself, saying that she was not aware of the situation between the two parties.
The two have not been on speaking terms since then, and would treat each other like strangers whenever they attended the same events.
However, Rosamund's attitude have softened over the years, saying that she has already moved on from the incident and will just go with the flow when it comes to her friendship with her fellow actress. Similarly, Carina stated that whether or not they could be friends again depended on Rosamund herself.
