Cardi B Waves to Fans As Husband Offset Cuffed by Police in Beverly Hills

American entertainer Cardi B was filmed interacting with fans in Beverly Hills, California, on October 24, shortly after her husband was detained by local police officers.

Offset, a rapper with hip hop trio Migos and whose real name is Kiari Cephus, was detained by police off South Santa Monica Boulevard. In a statement released after the incident, local police said they received “information from a passerby of a subject who pointed a weapon from a vehicle at him.”

The vehicle in question, driven by the rapper, was apprehended nearby. Though Cephus was released, a 20-year-old passenger in the car was arrested.

Cardi B was also present at the scene of the arrest, according to media reports, where she engaged in a confrontation with police officers.
