Cardi B and LL Cool J Added to 'Dick Clark's Rockin' Eve' Performance Lineup

The annual New Year's Eve special will air live on ABC Sunday, Dec. 31, beginning at 8 p.m. EST

Cardi B and LL Cool J will now be ringing in 2024 on Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve.

On Wednesday, ABC and Dick Clark Productions announced that the "WAP" musician, 31, and "Around the Way Girl" artist, 55, would be performing during the New Year’s Eve Special, hosted by Ryan Seacrest.

LL Cool J, alongside DJ Z-Trip, will hit the stage just before midnight from New York’s Times Square, while Cardi B will deliver her performance from Miami.

The show also added comedic segments with Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias, Matt Friend, Ms. Pat and Sebastian Maniscalco, who will provide commentary on the past year.

Earlier this month, the live program added performances from Post Malone in Las Vegas, NewJeans in South Korea and Ivy Queen in Puerto Rico, in addition to the previously announced slate of talent.

The three previously announced acts round out an already impressive bill featuring AquaDoechiiEllie GouldingGreen DayJanelle Monáe, Loud Luxury x Two Friends with Bebe RexhaLudacrisNile Rodgers & CHIC, Paul Russell, Reneé Rapp with Coco Jones, and Thirty Seconds to Mars.

The “Sunflower” singer/rapper (whose real name is Austin Post), 28, will perform his hit “Chemical” off this year’s Austin from the brand new luxury casino and hotel Fontainebleau Las Vegas. Post Malone will be the second artist to perform at the all-new BleauLive Theater, following a Dec. 13 opening night concert from Justin Timberlake. Post Malone be ringing in the new year all weekend at the latest addition to the Vegas Strip, with special shows on Dec. 30 and 31 — the latter of which will be featured in the live ABC special.

Meanwhile, K-pop stars NewJeans will perform two fan-favorites off their latest album Get Up: “ETA” and “Super Shy.” The five-piece outfit's appearance marks the first-ever performance from South Korea on the long-running holiday special. Ivy Queen's set will hail from the Puerto Rico Convention Center and DISTRITO T-Mobile.

During the show, Seacrest, 49, will usher in 2024 from Times Square in New York City along with pop star Rita Ora. On the West Coast, TV personality Jeannie Mai will lead the Hollywood coverage. 

This year, the annual New Year’s Eve celebration will return for its 52nd year. It marks Seacrest’s 19th year as the host.

Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2024 will air live on ABC Sunday, Dec. 31, kicking off at 8 p.m. EST.
